As much as I love blogs, there is one thing that blogs don't have that magazines do have - perfume samples. When I look at magazines, little flaps can be opened so that I can get a whiff of whatever perfume is being advertised. When I look at blogs, I see the awesome outfits that are being worn, but I don't get to smell what perfume the blogger is wearing (and yes, I am making the assumption that everyone smells awesome!). I do like to try new perfumes, but sometimes I stick to one specific perfume and wear it day after day for awhile My latest new favorite is Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey. I "discovered" it one day when I asked a customer what she was wearing because I liked the smell so much. So, if you are looking at my blog wondering how I smell, just pick up a bottle of Issey and you will know! What about you, do you have a "signature" perfume, do you wear different perfumes all the time or are you someone who prefers to have just a natural smell and not put perfume on?
I am head over heels in love with that cardigan! What a great piece. That outfit is just terrific overall!

ReplyDeleteI like the perfume samples too. I don't have a signature fragrance. There are several I like. It's hard to find ones I love.

Perfume can literally kill me with my asthma. I have to pull all the perfume ads out of magazines and let the magazine air out before I can stand to look at them. I wish I did not have this affliction as I remember the joy of a lovely perfume.
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful in this outfit. I love this color combo.
I usually don't wear perfume because I work in a hair salon and end up smelling like a fruit and flower salad due to all the hair products
ReplyDeleteDropping in from Linda's Blog Hop!
Love how you paired it all together. I can't get enough of those stripped tops. :) I agree about perfume.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. I do love the Chanel No. 5.... TALU
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big perfume person, but when I do wear it, I tend to go with Anais Anais for day - I think it's a nice soft scent, and Je Reviens (stick with the perfume) for evening. Scent definitely depends on body chemistry though - you might smell awesome wearing something that smells gross on me and vice versa. As for samples in magazines, to me, most of them smell the same. I could never get a true feel for the product that way, but they come in handy on occasion LOL. [#TALU]
ReplyDeleteloving that black bubble necklace!

The pink cardigan looks beautiful on you and I happen to be a huge fan of the color of pink myself :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty in pink ... love the necklace and striped shirt especially. I'm a Marc Jacobs girl, or Michael Kors ... their original scents. My Huz likes me in Light Blue for summer, Stella McCartney for winters, and after 5 pm!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cardigan and the stripes are stylin' for sure!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful style, love the pink sweater! Perhaps we could follow each other?
