One Tribe

What I Wore

Out With Hubby

 Sweater (Thrifted) Loca/Loca Brand/Blouse - Target/Jeans - Gap
Shoes - Target/Watch - MK/Earrings - Local Boutique

This sweater is one of those items that  keeps me going to resale stores. When I saw it, I decided that $5 was not a bad price for one my favorite "go to" items - the cardigan.  The fact that this sweater has a tribal feel made it an even better deal to me.  One of the nice things about living and working in a larger city is that there are so many choices of resale shops.  We have regular Goodwills, we have "Boutique" Goodwills and we have upscale consignment shops.  One of my favorite things to do with a friend is a day of resale shop hopping.  We will go to as many of the different stores  as we can fit into one day.  It is such a fun day of shopping, comparing bargains, talking and laughing.  Have you ever gone thrifting with a friend?

  3. I have gone mini-thrifting with my daughter and husband, but I always feel like I must rush through because neither of them care much for shopping. So I prefer to thrift on my own, take my time, look at what I want at my own pace.
Your tribal cardigan is beautiful and in lovely condition. I am dying to have some tassel loafers like yours.
I had to google "boutique Goodwill". I had not heard that term before. Goodwill or Value Village is where I do 99% of my fashion shopping.

    1. Lisa - you definitely need to try thrifting with another woman (I'll volunteer to be that woman LOL), but I could never take my husband, so you are a better person than me! And if you have a boutique Goodwill any where near you be sure to check it out!

I loved your thrifting with a friend comment... we had our 2nd Eat Thrift Love day with 20+ gals and we had a BLAST. This time we met for breakfast, hit 4 thrift stores and met for lunch to show off our finds. SO FUN. Don't you wish you lived closer so you could come? I know I wish you did! xoxo jules

  12. Another adorable outfit. I keep trying to figure out which film star you remind me of ... it's been bugging me from the first time I saw your blog. I got it! You're too young to remember her, but Google the British actress Judy Geeson! This may be old news to you, but you do really look like her.

    1. Jan!! I love, love, love that you think I look like Judy Geeson!!! THANK YOU!! Your comparison made my day!! I wasn't familiar with her name, but as soon as I looked her up, I had to say that I am not too young to remember her! Now I am dying to get ahold of a copy of To Sir, With Love and rewatch (it's been years since I saw it). Thanks again!!
