Almost one month of 2013 is over already. The end of a day, a week, or a month is time to reflect on what has just finished but also make plans for what lies ahead. With January ending and the month of February still ahead of us full of possibilities, my mind is racing with plans. Super Bowl Sunday, College Signing Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day, OSCAR Sunday - and to think February is a short month of only 28 days! Special days aside, I have other things that I want to accomplish as well - reorganizing my closet, revamping my skin care regime (any great suggestions in that area?), reading more than just blogs (what is the best book you have read lately?) for a start. What about you, what do you have on your to do list for February?
Ohnow this is my kind of outfit, love it, smart yet sexy and rocking :)
ReplyDeleteYou know one of the things I am hopng to do this year is read more books. I used to read several every week, but now, as with you, I tend to read just blogs and online news etc. I did manage to see what all the fuss was over Fifty Shade of Grey last year, borrowed it off my daughter lol as I felt left out when everyone was talking about it. But I definitely hope to read more this year, to think my degree is in Literature and history lol

Angela,
DeleteThanks so much for the comment! I've popped over to your blog and am happily following you! I was like you - read not just a book in a month, but several - but I did read Fifty Shades series. Be sure to share what you are reading - maybe I will get some good ideas from you this year!
Wow, you've got a busy but fun month planned! Cute studded collar and printed pants. What a fun date night look. Thanks for linking up today.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alison - for the comment and for hosting the link up!
Deletecant believe the first month is ending too.... so fast.... i am reading 7 years younger by Good Housekeeping, its a program with Dr. Oz on how to look younger and thus am searching for a new skin care routine myself. The book suggests anti-aging products and gives a list of ingredients to look for and even recommends some brand names. I am trying samples of Algerist now and have my eye on the Loreal Revitalift line. I will be curious to hear what you try too.
ReplyDeleteBobbie - Thanks so much for mentioning this book/program. I am a fan of Dr. Oz, so if he endorses it, I want to look into it! I think I will go by the bookstore tomorrow and see if I can look through it. I've been reading reviews on Amazon and want to see it in person. Keep me posted on how it is going for you to incorporate.
DeleteYes, February - the first day starts off with my youngest turning 17...it has to get better after that (lol)!
ReplyDeleteOh, Happy Birthday to your youngest! Talk about time flying by - my kid's birthdays seem to work at making me feel old more than my own! LOL
DeleteHi, I’m the newest follower of your blog from the Weekly Wednesday Blog Hop! Would love if you could stop by mine! Thanks <^..^>

Rachael - Thanks so much for the follow and I am heading over to your blog to return the favor! I look forward to getting to know you!
DeleteLove the top! February is actually one of my less busy months this year, looking forward to relaxing.. a lot! :)
ReplyDeleteShaina - Relax and enjoy your February but if you get bored, just let me know...I've got a lot I would be happy to have you do!:)
DeleteWell, it's a perfect time for those pants!! Anytime is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love your blouse with them. A bit edgy in the little studs on the collar. Love it!
Perfect date night outfit. The pattern and color of the pants is wonderful and I love that stud collared blouse.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big murder mystery fan and that's about all I've been reading for a long time. (I really should branch out. ha) I've recently discovered Lisa Gardner mysteries. They're pretty good page turners.
Great colour combos and the outfit looks so good as an ensemble
ReplyDeleteI love these pants and I really like that you kept the rest of the outfit neutral to allow the pants to be the focal point of your ensemble. As far as plans, there are so many, we recently went through our calendar and realized every weekend until April is full!
ReplyDeleteAs far as the 50 Shades phenomenon, I don't understand it. I was not a lit major, but that book read like it was written by a twee fantasizing about what it would be like to fall in love. The hero is a self-made billionare (of course!) who speaks fluent French, is a concert level pianist, flies a helicopter, and could be a 5-star chef if he so chose. I just saw the creepy and controlling tendencies and stopped reading before anyone else could "die a thousand deaths!"
Wow. I guess I didn't like it much. LOL! :)
Looks gorgeous, I love your style.
