Skirts. For some females, wearing a dress/skirt is an everyday occurrence. There were years that I was one of those people who wore a two piece suit to work everyday, and those suits involved skirts. Five days a week, fifty weeks a year, I wore a suit to work. Maybe after all those hundreds of days of skirts, it was inevitable that I would become a pants wearing person. I recently realized that I could count on one hand the number of times I had worn a skirt last year. As a result, I decided I need to make a concerted effort to wear more dresses and skirts, and that at least one day a month I will be putting on a skirt. Now, I am not limiting myself to only once a month, but even if I do that, this time next year I won't be able to count on one hand (or even two hands) how many times I had a skirt on in a year! What about you, do you wear skirts a lot, or do you tend to wear skirts for special occasions?
That is a great way to wear leopard and still look classy.

Ochi - glad to have you as a follower! I have started following you as well! Have a great weekend!
DeleteI have just gone through all your posts from this year, and wanted to let you know I think this is your best outfit! Skirts and boots really suit you. And so does your smile - it makes you look ten years younger! I think white, black and hot pink are your most flattering colours, and I think you should always wear black tights and black shoes for the flattering line they give to your legs. :D
ReplyDeleteOh my, you are just like me. The only times I wore a dress or skirt in 2012 was to a wedding, a couple of Christenings, and a couple of nights out! The rest of the time I live in jeans, and occasionally leggings. I just don't feel relaxed in dresses, they fell "dressed up" and I am very much a casual gal, but maybe once Spring is here I will follow your lead and try the once a month thing. Funnily enough my very first blog (three weeks ago) involved my newest clothing buy, an animal print skirt lol
ReplyDeleteI'm happy I found your blog on last weeks blog hop, I was just browsing a few today to try and find a couple of new ones to follow and maybe get some followers for my blog as it's only three weeks old.

Angela - Thanks for coming by and visiting! I'm off to see your animal print skirt.
DeleteYour outfit looks fabulous. I love the pop of the pink top. I am trying to wear more skirts as well. I've always worn trousers - mostly jeans - as my 'mom uniform' and only worn skirts to dress up, but now I'm working towards more of a balance :) Thank you for sharing this post with the Gallery of Favorites.
