As I sit watching the Fashion Police Golden Globes Special, I have to say it is a relief that Joan Rivers is not reading my blog!  She is, of course, a comedienne first and foremost, but some of those zingers...ouch!  It is always awesome to read your comments when you like something I wrote or wore, but, if you do see or read something and have a suggestion on how I could have done it better, I also welcome that input. I really do welcome readers input no matter what that input is (although I just am not sure that Joan would find much to like). I think that many blog readers tend to only say positive things about a post (I know I fall into that category).  But I wonder if we avoid leaving any comment if we don't completely love what we read or see - even if we could be giving good input.  What about you? Do you only leave comments if you love that post, or have you ever offered constructive criticism when you commented?

  1. I have offered constructive criticism before...maybe actually formed it as a suggestion.

I have to honestly say you have a great body and you should flaunt it!! Cute belt!

I'm a new follower! Found you over at Adorned from Above!

  2. I think I tend to go by the rule of if you haven't got anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all! But I totally agree that constructive criticism could actually be a really good thing. You've made me think now! As it goes, I love how you have put this outfit together. I love the little belt and coloured jeans are always a winner for me :-)

  3. Love this fun pop of color with your belt! Joan Rivers is kind of mean but she makes me laugh.

  5. I need to go shopping and copy your outfit! Those colored jeans are great.

Oh, and I'm in the boat of the comment only if you like it category. Well, I may offer suggestions in a kind way. I guess I go by, "if you don't have something nice, or helpful, to say, then don't say it."

  13. Hi! Just stopping by from the FTF blog hop! New follower on your lovely blog, would love to have you stop by my blog sometime and follow back if you like. I tend to stick to the if you don't have anything nice to say then just keep your mouth shut. haha! Besides one persons style might be completely different than someone elses and thats ok too.
